Depending on variant, the Forester is available with either six-speed manual or CVT transmissions. Safety tech includes seven airbags, reversing camera and, in high-spec models, Subaru's EyeSight autonomous emergency braking with adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, lane-sway warning and lead-vehicle start alert to advise if the car in front has moved off.
